I worry too much

I woke up worried about the baby. What if Coco and Charlie are not feeding it? I got up early to check him this a.m. but his crop was not too full. Then I got to thinking, that I woke up the parents and they hadn't had a chance to feed him yet in the a.m. Sp I checked again later and he had some in his crop, but not as full as I make them. These first days are always such a concern to me. I felt of him and he is nice and warm, so that is a good sign!

The first egg hatched today 12:57 p.m.

Egg #1 laid on July 5, hatched today, right on schedule at 28 days... so hopefully the other two will be coming along in the next few days. I just went down and checked and the baby is completely out of its shell. It looks healthy and was making little noises asking for food. I will check in a little while and make sure Coco and Charlie are taking care of it. I am leaving baby with parents for now, so as not to upset her with the other eggs this close. I will watch carefully and make sure the crop is nice and full....if not I'll risk upsetting and take it out. baby looks nice and healthy. I think it just hatched
I need to go and get the incubator set up just in case I need to get him out of the nest box. I don't think it is a worry, as they did so well with Sunny, but these babies are so tiny and look so fragile. The baby is so tiny!! It is a miracle to see how the parents can feed them with those huge beaks and the babies have such a tiny little beak!! They are about the size of my thumb when they hatch. He/she looks very healthy, really nice color!!
It is weird, once the baby hatches Coco and Charlie are not nearly as nervous and almost seem to want to show it to me... I still am careful not to upset them.

This picture is not our new baby, but a picture of Coco and Charlie's first baby, which my parents hatched in an incubator.
