The whole house is celebrating another egg

The birds are in rare form this a.m. They have barely been quiet for a minute. They are doing a lot of singing and making their own variations on songs that they know. I just heard Kiwi sing, "I love you, a bushel and a peck and you make me so HAPPEEEEE!!"

Coco laid egg #3

I was so excited to see that third egg this a.m. when I went down to bring the Coco and Charlie their breakfast. I have been trying to stay away as much as possible since Charlie is so protective and gets nervous when I am there. Also Coco always come out of the nest to see me right away.

This is the largest number of eggs that she has set on so far since she came to live with us. My mom said she had four one time but none of them hatched. She seems to be a far more settled mom now than she was then, so I am hopeful she will be able to hatch all three.

Coco has two eggs!!

Coco has two eggs now! She has started staying in the nest box most of the time now. She comes out when she hears me come in to feed, and then quickly goes back to the box, so it is hard to get a glimpse in the box while she is out!
